FCC brief profile

FCC is the parent of one of Europe's largest groups in the provision of services for citizens operating in sectors such as environmental services, water, and infrastructure. The division of Environmental Services covers all activities including collection services, treatment and disposal of municipal solid waste, street cleaning, maintenance of sewer systems and conservation of green areas mainly in Spain, UK, CEE and Portugal.

FCC Group operates in 25 countries and have obtained revenues of 6.476 billion EUR in 2015, thereof 47% on international markets, mainly Europe and America.

FCC Environment CEE, formerly .A.S.A. Group, refers to the groups’ activities in AT, CZ, SK, PL, HU, BG, RO, RS and business development in CEE and SEE countries.

FCC is the majority owner since 2005.

fcc%20group%20structure1 FCC has three major areas of activity, based on a balanced business model. Objective is to become a more global business group providing services for citizens. To achieve this, various strategies for each of our areas Infrastructures, Services and Water are designed.

 

  • fccinfraThe Infrastructure division works in the areas of construction and industrial activity. The strategy for the Infrastructures area is to expand internationally in countries that offer legal security, financial solidity and have ambitious development plans, such as Algeria, the United States, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates.

  • fccenviroThe Services division covers two large areas: environmental services and services for citizens. The strategy in Services is based on orderly, systematic growth. This involves expanding in nearby markets that offer secure synergies between clients, acquiring local companies and consolidating business in the market. FCC Environment CEE/.A.S.A. is a part of the FCC Service division.

    Water: aqualia leads the way in meeting the water activity needs of both private companies and public bodies, as well as those of individuals. We work at every stage and all requirements of the water-cycle, be it for human consumption, industrial needs or agricultural use.

Involvement with citizens

FCC Group places emphasis on ensuring public satisfaction with its activities, developing a broad range of services for citizens to make our environment more eco-efficient.

FCC's employees interact with citizens on a daily basis and focus on constantly increasing sustainability. Together, they will create socially-integrated cities.
