Mineral oil is a clear, odorless liquid and a common ingredient in a variety of cosmetics and personal care products. Mineral oil is made from highly refined, purified and processed petroleum. But how to handle with the used mineral oil?

The proper disposal of waste oil is important for maintaining our environment. Improper disposal can cause big problems as of  blocked house drains and sewers, tainted drinking water supplies and damaged sewage treatment works as oil affects the bacteria that break down solid waste. 

How to Recycle Used Mineral Oil?

Used mineral oil can either be refined into high quality base oil or processed to fuel for industrial use. The energy consumption when using used mineral oil as raw material is only half of that needed for the production of lubricants from crude oil.
