FCC Environment CEE introduces OdpadOnline.sk

 

Activities like shopping, or managing your domestic services, are nowadays more and more commonly done online using websites and mobile applications. This trend has clearly become more prevalent, especially during the last few months, as we have had to change our habits and reduce social contact.

Online solutions as a part of the long term Group strategy

In accordance with FCC Environment Group‘s long-term strategy in the field of online solutions, our company is introducing another online service, this time in Slovakia. After the highly successful development of the Abfall Service online project in Austria, the 19th of May 2020 will see the launch of its ‚little brother‘ OdpadOnline.sk, which will work on the same principle.

“OdpadOnline.sk is the first of a planned package of online projects that we would like to introduce during the year”. - Lucie Zumrová, the Head of Group Communication and CSR. “Thanks to this service, our customers will be able to order a container and ensure the safe removal and disposal of their waste, literally, with just a few clicks and from the comfort of home, or on the move. This can be done by visiting the website - eshop www.odpadonline.sk.”

How the service works?

The procedure for ensuring waste disposal is really simple. It consists of 5 steps and will only take a maximum of about 5 minutes of your time.

1. Step 1 - Enter the postal code and the system checks whether we provide the service in your location. This service isn‘t offered in every region of Slovakia, at the beginning it will be in regions where we already operate. The plan is to increase the coverage in the future.
2. Step 2 - Choose the type of waste you want to get rid of. Currently we offer the service for 2 types of waste - construction and bulky waste.
3. Step 3 - Select the desired container size. You can choose between - 5, 7 or 10m3 containers depending on the amount of waste.
4. Step 4 - Chose the date for delivery and pick-up of the container. Containers can be provided within a minimum of three working days.
5. Step 5 - Confirm your order by making an online payment - Credit Cards including VISA or Mastercard are accepted.
