Visitors can enjoy panoramic views from Petřín Hill, wander through the vast green spaces of Stromovka Park, hike in the rugged landscape of Divoká Šárka, or simply stroll along the banks of the Vltava River. One of the most memorable experiences is a sunset cruise, when Prague's famous skyline reflects on the water.

Prague is also one of Central Europe's cultural capitals. Historic theatres, opera houses, museums, galleries, and music venues ensure that every visit offers something new. The legacy of writers such as Franz Kafka continues to shape the city's identity, while festivals, concerts, and exhibitions bring new energy throughout the year.

FCC Connection

Prague is also home to one of FCC's most important operations in the Czech Republic.

Since 1992, FCC Česká republika, a part of the FCC CEE Group, has been providing comprehensive waste management services in Prague and its surrounding municipalities. Today, approximately 450 colleagues support residents, businesses, and public institutions through collection, transport, treatment, and recycling services.

FCC operates three recycling facilities for paper, plastics, and glass in Prague, forming an important part of the city's circular waste management system. In Ďáblice, the company operates a municipal waste landfill, a transfer station, and a collection yard. FCC is also responsible for public greenery maintenance and street cleaning in parts of the Czech capital.

The operation includes advanced technologies such as RDF production and modern sorting systems that help transform waste into valuable resources and support Prague's sustainability goals.
