FCC CEE Publishes a New E-book: First Aid for Animals

FCC CEE is more than a provider of environmental services. We are part of everyday life in cities and municipalities across Central and Southeastern Europe, working closely with residents and communities – including their beloved pets.

Inspired by a similar initiative from our Polish colleagues, FCC CEE has created and published a new e-book:

FIRST AID FOR ANIMALS – A Practical Guide for Dog and Cat Owners

The guide provides practical information on how to react in the most common emergency situations involving dogs and cats before professional veterinary help is available.

Every year, pet owners face incidents such as poisoning, injuries, heatstroke, choking, or sudden collapse. In such moments, the first few minutes can be crucial. Knowing how to respond correctly can significantly improve an animal’s chances of recovery.

The publication is based on publicly available veterinary and professional sources and was reviewed by MVDr. Robert Novotný, whom we would like to thank for his valuable expert consultation.
