FCC Environment CEE Group | Strong results for 2021

The year 2021 was very successful for us. The annual turnover increased by 19.0% (554.4 M€ - compared to the prior year).

The implementation of large-scale remediation projects in the Czech Republic and, more recently, in Slovakia, winning a number of tenders including collection and disposal services in several cities in Poland and the provision of landfill services for several municipalities in Hungary, as well as group-wide higher detected prices of secondary raw materials - have contributed greatly to these results.

Also positively impacting the success of 2021 was the fact that a much higher GDP was recorded than the previous year, which led to our commercial and industrial waste segment growing accordingly in all our countries.
