FCC Environment CEE Results 2017: Fit like never before

Celebrating 30 years in the market, FCC Environment CEE is getting fitter and fitter every year. The results of 2017 have beaten the previous period with external sales increasing by 9% and EBITDA by 8%.

“This was the best year in our history in terms of sales, as well as net income”, conveys Björn Mittendorfer, lifting the lid on what has been happening behind the scenes to enable such impressive results. “This is an achievement for the whole CEE Group. Each and every country has contributed to this outstanding performance. Traditional “draught-horses” such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary have all increased their sales by more than 10%.

We are very happy with the new acquisitions, including; IB Odpady Sp. z o.o. Nowy Targ in Poland and Kredus in Slovakia. A solid foundation for future development has been laid with other new locations, such as the collection yard and waste transfer station in Prague - Kyje (CZ). Moreover, the successful remediation projects in Czech Republic and Serbia have made a positive and significant contribution as well.“
