FCC Thermal Waste Treatment Plant in Zistersdorf (Austria) Supports Biodiversity with New Insect Houses
In a step towards promoting sustainability and biodiversity, the FCC thermal waste treatment plant in Zistersdorf has introduced three new insect houses. These additions, installed at the end of June, are part of the broader environmental strategy of the entire FCC Environment CEE Group.
The insect hotels, sourced from Poland and manufactured by external partner Mr. Ryszard, symbolize a commitment to fostering biodiversity. This initiative underscores the plant's dedication to creating a more sustainable environment by providing habitats for various insect species, which play crucial roles in pollination and ecosystem health.
