From waste to resource: FCC Environment CEE continues to unlock value
At FCC CEE, waste is seen as a resource to be transformed. Across Central and Eastern Europe, we are continuously improving how waste is converted into energy, materials, and new value for society.
Our latest infographic highlights the scale of this transformation. Operating in 7 countries and 160 locations, our teams manage waste streams in a way that maximizes their potential and brings them back into the cycle.
The results demonstrate the impact of this approach.
In 2025 alone, FCC CEE contributed to saving more than 683,000 tons of CO₂ and nearly 1.9 million cubic meters of landfill space, while conserving significant amounts of primary resources such as fuels, metals, and water.
This progress is driven by a clear principle: waste has value.
By focusing on recovery, recycling, and energy generation, we ensure that materials remain part of the loop for as long as possible.
As we continue to develop and scale our solutions, we are reinforcing our commitment to the circular economy – not by reducing waste as such, but by transforming it into resources.
