The city of Sofia showed appreciation for the .A.S.A./FCC Environment CEE services by renewing the contract for another 5 years

• The council of the Bulgarian capital Sofia proved its appreciation of the good cooperation and quality of provided services by renewing the contract for another 5 years.
• FCC Environment CEE (.A.S.A.) succeeded with its offer in a competition with 10 companies
• The cooperation has already been successful during the previous four years.

FCC Environment CEE (.A.S.A.) has been serving about 85.000 inhabitants in the “Lot Nr. 3” with waste collection, street cleaning as well as summer and winter maintenance. This “Lot” includes three of the 24 city districts of Sofia: Poduyane, Izgrev and Slatina. The city of Sofia emphasizes the environmental approach, looking to maximize the recycling quota of the collected waste. Especially the organic waste (bio-waste) collection is one of the current highlights of the cooperation between the city and FCC Environment CEE (.A.S.A.).
