Recycling paper and using it as raw material in paper production saves a large amount of energy, water and natural resources. Recycling 1 ton of paper saves more than 2 tons of wood. In Europe, about half of the raw material used for paper production is recycled paper, in the production of newspapers the utilization rate is 93%.
