Balling presses are used to compress the material and minimize the volume in order to optimize storage and transportation efficiency. In addition pressed bales can be wrapped to protect the material from environmental influences, like sun and water and to prevent odor emissions and leachate.
Pressing lines without wrapping are mainly used for pressing Secondary Raw Material – SRM - at sites where valuable recyclable materials are sorted on sorting lines. For pressing SRM, steel wires are used to grant a high compression factor for minimizing storage space and transportation costs.
Mechanically treated material for incineration plants is pressed and wrapped to guarantee a constant material quality and minimal environmental impacts. At this processes Nylon twines instead of iron wires are used.
The continuously fed hydraulic baler is completely automatic and produces high density bales.. The length of each bale can be adjusted according to the type of processed material.
All processes, such as material feeding with a conveyor, compressing, tying, wrapping and bale ejecting are done automatically.
Applications:
- Unsorted waste
- Waste for incineration
- Paper/cardboard
- Textile waste
- PET bottles and other plastic material
- Aluminium cans
